Bimbo's note brought back memories. Lots and lots of them. And got me writing this.
You could have sensed it coming. A little connection here. A little, "haan, oke toh ami chini. Amar shathe Eco tuition e porto" there. Random associations built over years of school life but never really explored.
Till it exploded. In first year of college. A bunch of strange, weird people who found each other in this mad mad world. And found a little tea shop near Southern Avenue. And a certain cosy little flat on the 7th floor. And the J.U. hanging bridge. And the Presidency maath. And Chini's. And Pao Chien. And Aasma.
And love.
It's been a while since then. 5 years to be exact. Life has taken it's course with those group of people. Love has been found and lost. And found again. Music has been made. And unmade. Movies have been watched, songs fallen in love with.Tears have been shed, laughter has been shared.
In those 5 years, some people have come and gone. Circumstances have changed. Beliefs, ideals, principles. Most of it has changed. But the people still remain. Steadfast
It is difficult to say what exactly would have happened if I had not accepted an invitation to go drink at a random girls house sometime in September 2005. Or if I hadn't invited a friend for coffee at a coffee shop December of that year. Difficult to imagine life without these completely random events and their truly immense outcomes.
Very very difficult.
